Lapland Resorts partners with Narvikfjellet – with shared lift passes and marketing
To enhance the experience of the Arctic border area between Norway and Sweden, Lapland Resorts is now entering an exciting collaboration with Narvikfjellet. A joint lift pass and a strengthened marketing strategy are on the agenda. For the visitor, this means that you can experience both Narvikfjellet and Lapland Resorts (Riksgränsen and Björkliden) on the same lift pass.
“We are delighted to enter into this partnership with Narvikfjellet. This cooperation allows us to reach out to more guests and offer them a unique experience on both sides of the border”, says Linda Andersson, General Manager of Lapland Resorts, in a press release.
The new lift pass allows visiting ski enthusiasts to experience three ski resorts on one lift pass. In other words, local and international guests will have access to a wide range of ski slopes and facilities in Narvik and the Kiruna mountains.
The collaboration also includes a joint marketing strategy to attract tourists from around the world. Narvikfjellet and Lapland Resorts will market themselves through a common product name to raise awareness of the region as one of the best winter destinations in Europe.
“As Norrbotten is the only region in Sweden with a border to two countries, we constantly see the importance of east-west cooperation. Kiruna and Narvik have a long, fine tradition of cooperation, not least through our collaborative projects with Northern Norway and Finnish Lapland. We are pleased to see that these collaborations continue to develop with innovations”, says Johanna Ögren, Marketing and Business Development Manager
